From a horror childhood of physical and sexual abuse, and 18 different schools, Anita Mary tracks her journey through the darkness of self-harm, suicidal tendencies, addiction, street-life, prostitution, and a serious brain injury - to healing and wholeness.
Anita's true-life story from the streets to redemption tracks a very different journey to the one she dreamed for herself.
In spite of being told by doctors that she would be "a vegetable, at best," Anita has become one of New Zealand's most exciting emerging artists. Once again, we see that no matter how bad things get, there's HOPE.
